The Role

Are you passionate about science education and nurturing a love of learning amongst students?

PLC is looking for a part-time (0.7 FTE), Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team from the start of Term 3 until the end of Term

This is a Term time only position.

You will be working in partnership with our Science teaching staff to provide effective learning outcomes for students across Years 7-12, with a focus on Years 7-10 Science.

As Laboratory Technician, you will play a key role in providing technical and operational support to our Science staff and students, contributing to optimal teaching and learning outcomes.

About You

You will have appropriate qualifications and experience in a Science laboratory setting, ideally in an educational environment.

Your effective communication skills, ability to relate positively with students and staff, and your capacity for self-direction and independent work will be essential to this role.

You will demonstrate excellent time management and prioritisation skills, have a strong understanding of safety protocols and measures within a laboratory and are able to support students and colleagues with that same level of understanding.
