Description:


Support people with a disability to engage in Thrive Academy NDIS supports to pin point an industry of choice to learn, grow and experience building knowledge and skills in order to progress into sustainable employment.


Supports may include planning and testing various industries of interest through work experience, education assistance including discovering courses available that are in line with participants goals, assistance in learning about work requirements such as routine, meal preparation and travel training and workplace policy and procedures.

You'll be empowering people with disability, supporting them to maintain and enhance their independence.
This could be in a Mai-Wel home, or in their own home, supporting individuals to live an independent life - through support with cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and heading out and engaging with their community and so much more

Skills and Experiences:

The Essential Requirements:

First Aid
Drivers License
A positive approach, communication skills and with a safety focus

Cert IV in Disability
Experience in Retail, Warehousing or Hospitality Industries
Experience working with participants with high intensity supports
Experience with the NDIS
