About the Job:

Join our newly formed Investment Data Team at Rest, supporting the operational needs within the Investments Services and Transformation division. In this role as a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and usability of data for our Investments team.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Data mapping, definitions, and procedure documentation
  • Metadata management (catalog, lineage)
  • Data process compliance and risk assurance
  • Data quality check execution, investigation, and resolution
  • Data retention, audit, and regulatory compliance
  • Implement best practice business process optimization for Data and Analytics operations, utilizing technology and analytical tools

Educational Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary degree and/or diploma

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Demonstrated expertise in data analysis within data management or investment analytics
  • Experience with data platform environments such as AWS, Snowflake, Azure, and data integration technologies
  • Familiarity with BI and analysis technologies including PowerBI, Tableau, Python, R, and Excel
  • Proficiency in SQL programming
  • Ability to effectively engage with key stakeholders in the Front Office and Investment Analytics teams
