Technical Support role primary focus is to maintain and monitor Our Client's networks along with provisioning and troubleshooting.

  • Maintaining and monitoring of Our Clients networks (route servers, transit network, peering network, server infrastructure)
  • Execute project work net sites, migrations etc
  • Identifying and providing input on possible improvements to networks and process especially where automation can be used
  • Participate in a 24x7 oncall rotation.
  • Provide guidance and support to Our Client in determining and recommending peering needs.
  • Identify approaches that leverage Our Clients resources and provide economies of scale.
  • Sourcing industry information to ensure Our Client is at the forefront of peering technology.
  • Help assist with new/existing member enquiries about the services we offer and the benefits.
  • Engage with clients to facilitate feedback and assist in the development of new clients.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external contacts.
  • Stakeholder engagement with internal and external contacts
  • Attendance/participation at relevant events, forums and industry associations
  • WH&S responsibilities for ensuring compliance with all requirements and hazard free at all times
  • Previous demonstrated strong service provider networking knowledge across multiple vendors.
  • Previous demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Relevant tertiary degree or equivalent work experience
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills with an ability to selfdirect
  • Demonstrated moderate to advanced linux skills is desirable
  • Proven ability to work autonomously
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in network automation including tooling and process
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of telecommunications industry both locally and globally
  • Commitment to outstanding client service
