The role:
Based in Sydney CBD, and including flexible work-from-home opportunities, the Bookings Coordinator will join a scheduling team, managing day-to-day customer requirements for broadcast services and content delivery.
Operating within a world class broadcast master control facility, the Bookings Coordinator will deal directly with customers to identify requirements, negotiate appropriate services, timings and costings, and liaise with delivery teams to communicate and schedule the required broadcast services.
Typical responsibilities will include:
- Direct communication with local and global customers.
- Reporting and updates in ScheduALL system.
- Attention to detail with admin, reporting and billing.
- Swift problem solving and prompt reaction to changes.
What we need:
We're looking for an experienced Broadcast Bookings Coordinator or Scheduler from a broadcast / programming background.
The Bookings Coordinator manages scheduling requirements impacting live (and pre-recorded) content delivery for professional broadcast media customers so a background in professional broadcast environments or knowledge of operational broadcast workflows is essential.
We're looking for a track record in the following:
- Experience in Bookings, Broadcast Operations or MCR.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong customer service ethic.
- Functional exposure to broadcast circuits, satellite / fibre / RF.
- Attention to detail with data, reporting and documents.
- Strong interpersonal, administrative and documentation skills.
