Our client is a well-established Department within the ACT Government. Their team is dedicated to providing support and strengthening the broader community. They are committed to excellence as they strive to meet client outcomes and respond to individual needs.

The Department is currently seeking 3x enthusiastic Client Engagement Officers to work within their diverse team based in Belconnen on a 3 month contract role This business unit is focused on Client Support and will be required to deliver exceptional customer service as well as providing both operational and general administration support.


The Job
Reporting through to a supervisor, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Providing customer support over the phone, face to face and via email.
  • Responding to and managing complaints and client concerns.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders as required.
  • Providing high-quality administrative support including inbox management and processing of applications and documentation.
  • Maintaining accurate records and file management across a variety of databases.
  • Escalating and referring clients to additional services as required.
  • Ensuring compliance with legislation, policy and business unit standards.


You
To be successful in this opportunity, you must have experience in the following areas & possess the below personal qualities:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working within a similar client service or customer support role.
  • Previous experience or understanding of the housing or community services sectors is advantageous.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to confidently work across multiple systems and databases.
