The Opportunity
Come join our team and put your passion for I.T. and specialist skills into practice through monitoring and sustaining the Production IT Environment for PACCAR Australia. This is a permanent full-time position in Bayswater.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Perform specialist routine technical duties, such as operating and monitoring the operations of computers and their peripherals under supervision to achieve predetermined service levels, monitoring iSeries (AS/400) system and related products (REVEAL, NoMAX, Standguard, Pentasafe etc.) and reporting issues where identified, among others.
  • Perform specialist nonroutine technical duties, like assisting the team leader to train new operations staff and providing remote access to support projects and fault resolution, among others.
  • Document and report all abnormal issues, or those requiring additional work outside the scope, including regularly checking and actioning all HEAT calls assigned to operator.
  • Security and controls: ensuring Server room access is restricted to authorised personnel, among other responsibilities.
  • Reporting and Checklists: complete IT Operations checklists daily and hand over information and issues, provide daily backup summary and maintain IT Registers, among other responsibilities.
