ABOUT THE ROLE
An excellent opportunity exists for a Product Compliance Specialist - Dangerous Goods to play a crucial role in the team. As part of this role, you will be responsible for developing assurance programs and systems for all aspects of handling and selling hazardous materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mitigating risks associated with dangerous goods and hazardous substances.
- Providing expert technical advice on Dangerous Goods and Chemical management.
- Assisting in obtaining and maintaining necessary licenses and compliance certificates.
- Ensuring compliance with regulations through testing and monitoring.
- Conducting risk assessments for new dangerous goods products.
ABOUT YOU
You will be highly knowledgeable when it comes to dangerous goods and the manufacturing industry and be able to expertly build rapport with a diverse set of stakeholders at all levels of our business.
Your extensive and diverse skillset will include:
- Experience in a Quality/Safety role for consumer products in Retail or Manufacturing.
- Confident communicator that allows you to educate and influence stakeholders.
- Proven attention to detail with a consistently analytical approach.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Dangerous Goods legislation and Heavy Vehicle National Law (Chain of Responsibility).
- Experience in conducting audits and managing Dangerous goods across importing, transport, and sale areas.
