Your New RoleThe Compliance Officer will be responsible for managing and ensuring the company's adherence to compliance requirements, specifically SOC2 standards. This role includes answering security questionnaires, reviewing and updating compliance documents, and implementing necessary controls.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compliance, risk management, and information security.
Key Responsibilities:- Answer and manage security questionnaires from clients and partners.
- Review and update compliance documents to ensure they meet current regulations and standards.
- Implement and monitor controls related to SOC2 compliance.
- Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance requirements are understood and met.
- Stay updated with the latest industry regulations and standards.
- Provide training and support to employees on compliance matters.
- Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, IT, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a compliance, GRC or related role.
- Strong knowledge of SOC2 standards and other relevant compliance frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proven skills in advising business and technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a globally dispersed team.
- Proficiency in using compliance management software and tools.
- Certification in compliance or security governance e.g. CISA, CISSP, CGRC, CRISC, or similar.
- Experience in the technology or finance industry.
- Familiarity with GDPR, ISO 27001, and other international standards.
