A bit about the role


This role within Wyndham City's Asset Rehabilitation Unit will offer you the opportunity to fully utilise your highly developed communication, infrastructure monitoring and time management skills within a supportive team environment.

Reporting to the Area Leader Asset Rehabilitation, the duties of the position include:

  • Delivering a range of Asset Rehabilitation's inspection programs including footpath audits, Asset Protection Inspections and responding to customer requests.
  • Assisting the Area Leader in the conduct of the rehabilitation programs in monitoring the performance of works.
  • Ensuring the City's Assets are maintained at a high standard.
  • Liaising with parties conducting works under Consents/ Permits.
  • Contributing to the success of Asset Rehabilitation through active teamwork and effective performance of the responsibilities and duties of the position.

What you'll bring

  • Experience in conducting and documenting site inspections.
  • Ability to use infield data collection device.
  • Knowledge of road maintenance and/or rehabilitation techniques.
  • The position requires the physical capacity to walk long distances daily, including on uneven surfaces and in all weathers.
  • Ability to engage with and achieve successful outcomes across a wide range of people internal and external to Council that ensure the quality of works delivered within the municipality.
