Aviation Protection Officer, Brisbane Airport- Campaign

The Position:

  • Responsible for ensuring passengers and their possessions are thoroughly checked before departure
  • Control access to security sensitive areas, conduct physical searches, and detect prohibited items
  • Organize passenger flow during security screening
  • Demonstrate effective communication and decision-making abilities
  • Provide high-quality customer service consistently
  • Maintain a high standard of personal grooming

Other opportunities within the role:

We are also looking for individuals with a valid QLD Security License to cover duties as an Active Surveillance Officer as needed

  • Prior experience with CCTV and active surveillance techniques is crucial for monitoring airport operations

Minimum Criteria:

  • Hold or acquire a Certificate II in Transport Security Protection
  • Receive on-site training for this certification
  • Pass drug screenings and medical assessments successfully
  • Obtain an ASIC (criminal history clearance within the last 10 years)
  • Have an unrestricted driver's license and a reliable vehicle
  • Be fully available to work on a 24/7 rotating roster
  • Be fully available for the initial 3 months of employment for training purposes
