About the Role
Reporting to the Director WHS, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Leading the psychological health and safety function, focusing on providing expertise and advice to influence sustainable and measurable improvement in the prevention and mitigation of psychological health and safety risk, management of obligations and playing a lead role in the strategy design.
  • The Redesign of the early intervention, injury management and returntowork services for employees with work and nonworkrelated injuries and illnesses to achieve timely, efficient and sustainable returntowork outcomes.
  • Provide guidance and supervision for complex case management and managing highrisk cases if required.

About You

  • Strong practical experience in leading psychological health and safety risk management across large, complex organisations, ideally across both private and public sectors.
  • Extensive knowledge and skills in psychological and psychosocial health, safety and wellbeing, acquired through formal education (ideally psychology) and training and significant professional, specialist, and management experience.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing best practices and contemporary models of injury management support programs, training, and initiatives in physical and psychological safety and wellbeing.
  • Highlevel expertise in consultation with a demonstrated ability to problem solve through negotiation and collaboration.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management expertise and experience, including the ability to engage, inform, and advise a diverse range of stakeholders about highly complex issues and the ability to navigate a complex matrixstyle organisation.
  • Proven experience in proactively driving reporting & insights, projects and programs.
