The position
We're seeking an enthusiastic person to join our Human Resources team on a full-time permanent basis to provide administrative support as well as assist the development and implementation of team member health and wellbeing initiatives.
This position reports directly to the Executive Shared Services, however, is provided with operational support on a daily basis from the Team Facilitator People and Culture.
- Key Responsibilities (not limited to):_
- Ensure team member records such as employment documentation, recruitment documentation, performance records and credentials are up to date and stored securely on HR Information system ;
- Conduct phone screens and reference checks as required to support the HR team;
- Assist in the coordination of induction processes, ensuring a smooth and welcoming induction for all new starters, this will include but is not limited to, room bookings, compliance paperwork, scheduling induction sessions and presentation updates;
- Update and maintain human resources spreadsheets including both the payroll and recruitment trackers;
- Ensure HelpingMinds training database is updated and maintained at all times and relevant processes are followed for storing certifications and other training related documents, and;
- Assist in continuous improvement of relevant policies, procedures and practices.
About You
This is an opportunity for an experienced Human Resources Administrator with a genuine interest in working collaboratively to ensure effective team goals are met.
You have demonstrated experience in supporting a Human Resources department in the provision of a wide range of administrative services.
And finally, you're someone who's passionate with a demonstrated capacity to promote and uphold People and Culture initiatives and values including discretion and confidentiality.
- Minimum qualifications:_
- Qualification in Human Resources or progression towards obtaining a qualification in the field
- Proof of Australian Working Rights
- National Police Clearance (no older than 6 months)
