Outcomes Connect Australia (OCA) management is thrilled to share that we are expanding into sunny Queensland Our growth plans require us to hire skilled Behaviour Support Practitioners with experience in delivering positive behaviour supports in Queensland. We are looking for candidates knowledgeable about The Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework to join us in our commitment to delivering evidence-based, functional behavioural outcomes and reducing restrictive practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Support NDIS participants, their families, and carers in identifying needs through assessment and person-centred planning
  • Create meaningful goals and strategies using The Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework, focusing on eliminating restrictive practices
  • Develop, deliver, and assess evidence-based support plans in a complex support environment
  • Ensure individual plans align with clients' goals, passions, and strengths
  • Enhance the knowledge and capacity of those supporting our clients

Requirements:

  • NDIS Commission registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
  • Experience in providing positive behaviour support in Queensland
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient computer and writing skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle

Qualifications:

  • Relevant formal qualifications OR significant experience in supporting individuals with complex behaviours
