About the opportunity


Reporting to the Store Manager, the role of Sales Representative will see you managing both existing customers whilst developing new business.

You will identify trends and customer needs, build a short/medium/long term sales pipeline in accordance with operational targets, develop strategies for new business and assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies that achieve strategic goals.

Based at the Newcastle store, the opportunity is opened to a competitive, results-driven person who ideally processes product knowledge within the construction, industrial and fasteners industry

Key responsibilities include:
Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customised targeted sales strategies- Building business relationships with current and potential customers- Understanding customer needs and offering solutions and support; answering potential customer questions and follow-up enquiries- Collaborating with the Store Manager to secure, retain, and grow accounts- Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospective clients and their information- Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential customers; closing sales and working with the customer through the closing process- Meeting all quotas for cold, active, inactive calls, appointments, and interviews; meeting or exceeding annual sales goals- Maintaining a pipeline of all sales administration using CRM software- Collaborating with the Store Manager on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short and long-term business development plans- Assisting on the sales counter at the Newcastle store as required- Ensuring adherence to Workplace Health & Safety requirements and other Policies
