Esb Liaison Officer

In this role you will:
- Liaise with QHealth, sentence management and correctional centre stakeholders, and ESB representatives to develop outpatient appointment schedules to streamline and maximise appointment attendance within safety and security parameters.
- Provide advice to QHealth regarding correctional processes and prisoner categories and risk factors related to appointment planning.
- Provide advice to ESB management regarding future outpatient demands that require additional planning considerations.
- Liaise with QHealth and correctional centre stakeholders, and ESB representatives to maximise the effectiveness telehealth (video conference) appointments.
- Participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of processes associated with the management of prisoners attending medical appointments at the PAHSU.
- Manage record keeping and data entry to capture prisoner movement and appointment information utilising database programs and IT solutions.
- Examine outpatient and telehealth attendance data and develop reports on operational performance, attendance trends and rub points.
- Contribute to the ongoing review of service delivery by identifying areas of inefficiency and advising on improvement strategies.
- Ensure the appropriate exchange of information with partnered agencies to optimise the use of time and resources.
- Provide a broad range of administration support to staff and management across the ESB function.
- Manage own workflow by confirming priorities for work completion.
- Ensure the security and confidentiality of prisoner/patient information.
