The role

will also include major renewals which require new solutions and changes. You will bring your extensive, strong relationship management experience within the insurance industry to the role where you will manage new and maintain multi relationships across a wide network of Brokers.

Your key areas of focus will include:

Build strong meaningful intermediary relationships Identify, develop, deliver and maintain good quality business relationships by offering a wide range of knowledge on Vero Insurance products and services for an intermediary to ensure: Increased profitable sales opportunities, generating revenue within risk appetite Retention of existing business and providing high quality solutions for material changes Quality relationships are secured and maintained Business Development opportunities are sourced and secured Optimise the Regional network, leverage existing intermediary relationships to promote the wider range of products available within Suncorp New Zealand Develop, deliver and maintain paths for productive internal relationships to ensure -Supportive and collaborative relationships between Insurance Solutions,CBD, Claims & Operations, Vero Liability and Vero Marine. Contribute to the design, creation and implementation of the Region Sales strategies, tactics and plans to ensure: Region maximises sales revenue, profit and growth from customers and its market Retention and enhancement of existing business Increased visibility and success of the Vero brand and image in the New Zealand marketplace. Utilising the Vero underwriting strategies and guidelines, review, assess and accept risk for each renewal and new business opportunity provided by intermediaries to ensure: Underwriting and risk selection solutions enable the region to obtain profitable new business and retain existing business

What you'll need to succeed

ANZIIF Snr Associate CIP, or Diploma in Financial Services - Mandatory Business Degree or similar - Preferred Commercial general insurance experience - Minimum five years - Requirement Sales Relationship Management experience - Minimum five years - Essential General Insurance Broking experience - Highly regarded Insurance - commercial understanding of the general insurance market, products and underwriting - Highly desirable Advanced Relationship Management Skills Excellent Interpersonal skills, influencing and motivating Commerciality - understanding of medium to large sized business operations - Highly desirable Sales - knowledge of sales principles Brokers - knowledge of the broker landscape and key/influential brokers Relationship management - demonstrated ability to build and maintain collaborative strategic and commercial partnerships, relationships and networks.
