This role focuses on implementing essential management technologies, maximizing value, and ensuring regional compliance by connecting various functional Centers of Excellence and operational sites to optimize product value and drive continuous enhancement.

In this diverse and demanding position, you will spearhead the development, governance, and coordination of strategic projects, Integrated schedules, and the Alcoa Business System (ABS). Your role is pivotal in identifying and tackling both short-term and long-term challenges using insights drawn from data. Superior stakeholder management, consulting, and influencing skills across our Operations, Centers of Excellence, and SME functions are essential to deliver effective solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

Operational Performance Management:

  • Motivate and guide the team in problem-solving to achieve real-time results.
  • Oversee the development and governance of the Plan on a Page (POAP) for optimal performance.
  • Establish scorecards and key metrics to track outcomes.

Regional Alcoa Business Systems (ABS):

  • Create and execute targeted ABS deployment strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to global ABS standards and assist sites in implementation.

Integrated Schedule Management:

  • Align Long Term Mine Plans with 36 Month Mine Plans.
  • Lead crucial business reporting processes to enhance performance and compliance.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Demonstrate strong leadership to drive business results and address complex issues.
  • Engage and influence stakeholders from diverse departments such as Legal, Finance, and Human Resources.

People Management:

  • Guide and oversee a team of highly skilled Senior Managers with diverse expertise to deliver a range of projects.
