About the Role:
The Global Mechanical and Reliability Manager will play a pivotal role in our organization, assuming responsibility and accountability for the mechanical engineering, mechanical equipment development and improvement, and reliability engineering functions across our diverse portfolio of operations of mining, refining and smelting.

As the Global Mechanical Engineering and Reliability Manager, you will:
- Provide expert reliability input and analysis into asset management and optimization strategies at organizational and site levels.-
- Support the identification of reliability "Hidden Factory" and develop key strategies and actions to realize this potential.- Deploy best practice reliability frameworks, measures, tools, and systems to optimize asset management and business outcomes across Mining, Refining, and Smelting locations.- Offer expert reliability-related technical expertise and support for specific asset strategy development and complex asset performance-related problem-solving.- Own and support the effective implementation of world-class reliability processes, systems, and practices.- Collaborate closely with regional teams and operations to develop and implement global equipment development/improvement and new technology roadmaps.- Own the development, implementation and continuous improvement of all mechanical and mechanical equipment related engineering and maintenance standards- Lead the development and deployment of global-level standardized strategies for critical assets such as pots, PTMs, conveyors, etc.- Govern compliance to global mechanical and reliability systems, processes, standards, and expected performance to agreed plans.- Provide support for organizational design, recruiting, and training of regional and location functional roles in mechanical and reliability functions.

What you can bring to the role:
To play a part in our ongoing success we are seeking someone with:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering- Track record as an engineering and maintenance technical specialist.- A career that had led you into a leadership capacity where you have delivered results through others both through direct and indirect reports.- Detailed knowledge and expertise in reliability frameworks, theory, tools, and systems.- Multi-location/global experience in a technical Engineering or Maintenance roles.- Ability to influence and collaborate with peers, stakeholders, and customers to drive outcomes.- High energy, detail-minded, and ability to work systematically and efficiently.- Experience in mining, refining, and/or smelting ideally where you have also worked in an operational leadership role.
