About the Role

Internal Sales and Support Trainee Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders and administrative support to the sales team by assisting customers with inquiries.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team including but not limited to processing customer orders, stock control, freight management, picking and packing orders, responding to customer queries, liaising with suppliers, prepare spare parts kits for technicians and subcontractors.
  • Learn and follow a defined sales process.
  • Use Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM system and other ICT tools to support sales and administrative processes.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers to generate new business for the organisation's products and services.
  • Prepare information for marketing, create lists of marketing target markets, identify potential clients, perform market research, and update systems.
  • Prepare and provide information to relevant departments.

Skills & Experience

  • Prior sales experience and/or customer service experience will be advantageous.
  • Technical aptitude.
  • Ability to understand and complete adhoc tasks effectively and efficiently.
  • Strong and clear communication skills.
  • Proven time management skills, strong coordination, and organizational skills.
  • A current Australian driver's license and a valid right to live and work in Australia.
