The Role
Reporting to the Head of Sales, the Key Account Manager is vital in driving sales profitability and growth by promoting and selling the company's product range. The ideal candidate possesses a strong sales and account management background, along with a passion for renewable energy.

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the existing client base.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary contact.
  • Understand client needs and offer tailored solutions, including preparing proposals and quotations.
  • Implement strategies to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop sales strategies and meet objectives.
  • Negotiate contracts and establish pricing agreements.
  • Monitor industry and market trends to identify new sales prospects.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to management on key account activities and performance.

You

  • Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Successful experience in key account management, ideally within the renewables/photovoltaic industry.
  • Demonstrated track record in driving sales growth and achieving targets.
  • Thorough understanding of renewable energy products, technologies, industry trends, and market dynamics.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong client relationships.
  • Strategic thinker with superior problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
