Job description:


This national Tier 1 organisation is seeking a Building Services Manager/contractor to manage the delivery of service design across key South Australian projects within; health, sports, education, residential, commercial, retail, and industrial sectors.

The business has built a reputation for the consistent delivery of projects valued from $50M - $100M, offering services from start to finish within the project life-cycle.

They are committed to creating a balanced workplace for employees and currently offer a range of key benefits.

With a secure pipeline of work over the next 3 years, they are looking to appoint a Services Manager/ Coordinator for a high-profile commercial project.

This is a unique opportunity to get involved with one of Australia's most forward-thinking construction companies and work with true industry professionals.


The role
Your keen ability to problem-solve and establish industry relationships will see you succeed within this role

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage design for the Building Services packages across the project
  • Mechanical, Electrical & Hydraulic
  • Oversee coordination, installation and commissioning of building services
  • Programming, scheduling & subcontractor management
  • Procurement & value engineering
  • Overseeing HSE and QA on site
  • Assist with delivery in conjunction with the project team
  • Relevant degree qualification in Engineering, Construction Management etc.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 head contractor, Tier 1 subcontractor, or established Engineering Consultancy.
  • Proven experience managing complex building services packages on commercial construction projects valued $30M+
  • Experience with the installation, maintenance, and testing of essential Building services
  • Mechanical, Electrical & Hydraulic
  • Strong communication skills, you will be managing multiple internal and external stakeholders.
