About the position:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Public Art Specialist to join our City Culture and Activation Team.

Supporting a vibrant and passionate team, you will combine your understanding of and commitment to the arts and cultural development to plan and facilitate the Council's Public Art Program.

The program area covers a broad range of activities including project management, commissioning of new artworks, delivery of the public art maintenance program and working with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the Council's Public Art Strategy.


What do you need to be successful in this role?
We are seeking a degree qualified professional who has passion for public art, heritage and culture.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills is a must, particularly in building relationships with a diverse range of internal and external customers.

This position also requires technical expertise in the commissioning and maintenance of public art.
