Advising our business leaders, making sure the firm has an active voice on key topics, managing issues, building media relationships and supporting their work - no two days are ever the same.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Proactively pitching stories for print, online and/or broadcast media that support KPMG's business objectives.
  • Building relationships with journalists on behalf of KPMG
  • Advising and supporting business leaders on media, including media training and reputation management.
  • Actively monitoring the news and identifying issues, while managing any negative or sensitive matters.

Key skills and experience:

  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Prior experience as a media advisor or media relations role, preferably with a background in business and/or politics.
  • Solid network of media relationships
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • A deep understanding of how the media and business landscapes operate.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a team.
  • Ability to decipher complex information and deliver clear messaging.
