We're currently representing a leading civil contractor in Central Queensland. Our client specializes in defense, mining, civil, and residential projects. With a large number of current projects and more in the pipeline the client is looking to expand their team. After securing a large subdivision project locally in Mackay along with multiple scopes of work with a Coal Mining client, they are looking to hire x2 Civil Supervisors.

With a proven reputation for career development and long-term security, this is the role that will help you achieve your career goals. In securing this position, you will get the opportunity to work with a proven project delivery team and Project Manager as you help and watch this project come to life and fruition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of civil construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Lead and supervise construction crews, providing direction and support to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output.
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed, conducting regular safety inspections and addressing any potential hazards.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, standards, and quality requirements.

Key Requirements:

  • 5+ years of civil supervisor experience.
  • Proven experience as a Civil Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role in the civil construction industry.
  • Experience with specific project types such as subdivisions, mining, roadworks, or infrastructure projects.
  • Coal mining experience needed for mining role.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
