Sales Manager - Sydney Office - Permanent Full Time


A great opportunity is available for an experienced Sales Manager based in Sydney to manage a regional/territory team across Sydney Metro (from Sutherland Shire, Canterbury/Bankstown, Lower Blue Mountains to Northern Beaches).

You will be responsible for developing growth opportunities and expanding relationships with current customers and partners within the real estate industry.- Reporting to the Sales Director for NSW, this role will suit someone who enjoys territory planning and mentoring field sales team members (Account Partners and Account Coordinators) to ensure the profitability of the territory.- You will initiate sales activities, set expectations, provide mentorship, prioritise efforts, hold the team accountable for building pipeline and executing each phase of the sales cycle.

In a typical day you should expect to:
  • Build relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and engagement levels are high
  • Inspire, coordinate, and motivate the performance of your commercial field sales team
  • Hold your team accountable to the right levels of activity call rates, prioritisation of work to current GTM strategies and working with the team to build relationships with your customers in your team's assigned territory
  • Drive the change towards solutionselling as our Commercial teams sell an evolving product suite
  • Be part of the Senior Management Team to ensure Domain's way of selling continues to evolve with customer and industry needs.

How to catch our eye? You are someone who has

  • Sound financial understanding with demonstrated ability to develop sales plans and budgets
  • A leadership ethos of inspiring a culture of pride and performance through multiple levels and motivating others through influence
  • Experience managing a B2B sales team in a services/multiproduct organisation or Marketplace
  • Strong negotiation skills with an aptitude to build, maintain, and strengthen relationships
  • Excellent problemsolving and business communication (written & oral) skills
  • Skilled at business planning and diligent at measuring and communicating progress towards the plan, identifying roadblocks, and producing appropriate solutions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint is a must), G-Suite (desirable) and CRM systems (Salesforce desirable)
  • A valid NSW driver's licence and a reliable vehicle
