About the Opportunity

As the Director of Strategy and Sustainability, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Executive and Senior Management Teams in achieving our strategic priorities.

We are seeking a visionary leader with a proven track record of driving organizational change and achieving meaningful impact.

You will bring with you a diverse skill set, including strong strategic planning and project management abilities, coupled with exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement expertise.

A deep comprehension of social, economic, and political trends is essential, as is demonstrated experience in advocacy, policy development, and effective stakeholder management.

Along with your proven commitment to working respectfully and inclusively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, and culturally and linguistically diverse individuals, you will understand the issues that impact Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and can communicate sensitively and effectively with these communities.

Strategic Leadership:
Translating our organizational strategy into actionable plans and objectives, ensuring alignment with our long-term goals.

Advisory Support:
Providing strategic guidance to our leadership teams on critical issues related to communications, advocacy, and sustainability.

Innovation Cultivation:
Driving a culture of innovation across the organization, fostering new methodologies and practices to enhance our impact.

Advocacy:

Establishing advocacy priorities aligned with our strategic intent, advocating for systemic change to address the needs of the vulnerable populations we serve.


Stakeholder Engagement:
Building and nurturing partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to advance our advocacy efforts and influence policy decisions.

It is a requirement that prior to commencing in this role, you must possess a Working with Children (Ochre Card), a National Criminal History Check (within 3 months) and a current Northern Territory manual driver's licence.

Experience of working closely with and having a strong understanding of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander culture would be considered an advantage.
