The Opportunity


The Ramsay Learning and Organisational Development (L&OD) Team are responsible for building the capability of our workforce by ensuring that our people have the skills and capabilities required to perform their roles and to build successful careers.


As part of the National L&OD team, the Learning Designer is responsible for designing and developing innovative and engaging learning solutions that enable the performance and growth of our people and organisation.

This is a Head Office role in Sydney, with hybrid working arrangements.

Key Accountabilities

  • Undertake endtoend design and development for eLearning learning solutions.
  • Collaborate with Learning Specialists and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to create interactive learning solutions for clinical, nonclinical and corporate audiences
  • Create engaging and visually appealing graphics, animations and multimedia elements to enhance the learning experience
  • Contribute to the design and development of our Learning Design Standards and standardised templates
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends and best practices to ensure our programs are engaging, relevant and reflect contemporary learning design
  • Undertake QA checks to ensure that learning solutions reflect the RHC brand and meet guidelines and principles of inclusion
  • Evaluate learning solutions based on feedback and identify opportunities for improvement

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in instructional design and development of interactive and engaging learning experiences.
  • Highly proficient with elearning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline), animation production software (Vyond), Adobe Indesign or similar and multimedia software
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design principles and learning technologies.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent oral communication skills with demonstrated ability to clearly articulate and present concepts and recommendations

Remuneration
An annual salary of $80-88k + superannuation, based on experience. This is a prorated salary, based on 4 days per week.
