The Purpose:

Australian Payments Plus (AP+) is seeking an innovative and experienced Instructional Designer to join our dynamic team in a six-month max term contract role.

Our Learning Experience Designer is responsible for collaborating with our AP+ teams to design and deliver impactful learning solutions for strategic projects and initiatives.

We are looking for a learning professional with skills in digital learning design, instructional design, project management, and stakeholder management.

Day-to-day, you will be accountable for designing learning experiences that give our teams practical knowledge that is relevant and applicable to their jobs to be done.

You will be collaborating with a range of internal customers to support the achievement of strategic goals, and design and deliver for AP+ teams.


Responsibilities:

The Learning Experience Designer will collaborate, design and bring to life learning solutions that will support our teams across AP+.

You'll work with and deliver initiatives related to: Organisational effectiveness and operational excellence.
Risk, governance and regulations.
Leadership capabilities.
Personal growth and career development.
Change practices.
DEI and belonging.

To be considered for this role you should be able to demonstrate the following: Relevant experience in Digital Learning, Instructional Design, and Project Management.

Strong experience in using design tools for e-learning, videos, infographics.
Skilled communicator and stakeholder manager.
Ability to complete projects end-to-end, including discovery apply suitable methods e.g.
ADDIE/SAMand make enhancements to existing content.
Demonstrated ability to meet project deadlines and adapt to changes.
Understanding of Learning Management Systems and how it relates to overall learner experience.
Knowledge of adult learning principles and problem-solving.
Ability to balance innovative design, detail-oriented work with scalable solutions.
Portfolio or samples of previous instructional design work Experience in Financial Services/Fin Tech/Start-up/Scale-Up preferred but not essential.
