_About the Role_


The Manager, Information Security Operations leads information/cyber security operations by managing both internal and external security operations centers, ensuring the information and cyber security controls in place are operational in accordance with information security policies and procedures and managing responses to information and cyber security incidents as needed.

The role is an Ongoing position.

Essential requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • Significant experience in managing security operations centre or equivalent
  • Strong understanding and proven experience with information and cyber security incident management processes
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex technical issues to business stakeholders
  • Politically neutral with no affiliation to political parties or lobbyists/campaigners
  • Satisfactory criminal record check result

This role is based in at our Elizabeth Street, Sydney office with a hybrid work arrangement.

**The NSW Electoral Commission requires all workers to be vaccinated for COVID-19. You must have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccination by the commencement of your engagement or prior to first attending at a NSWEC location. You must produce evidence of your vaccination status for inspection when you attend for work. You may also be required to provide evidence of booster vaccine doses, in due course, and any such arrangements will be notified to you separately.
