About the role


In this rapidly evolving digital landscape, KWM's exceptional national Information Security team is at the forefront of maintaining a robust and secure information environment.

This critically important function of the firm is recognised by our investment in cutting-edge technology, programs and strategies.


Now we're looking to welcome aboard a skilled Information Security Manager A self-starter who is technically hands-on, driven and a people-focused leader will thrive with this opportunity to deliver the ongoing improvement of the firm's information security functions, as well as motivate a team of talented Information Security professionals.


Along with mentoring and inspiring the team, you will be supporting the day-to-day operation of the core technologies used by the firm's Information Security team, including monitoring for Threat Intelligence.

Strong consultative skills will be essential, in order to communicate the nitty-gritty of your technical expertise to any and all audiences across the business.


What experience are we looking for?

  • Strong technical aptitude, knowledge, and willingness to learn and develop skills in security technology controls including but not limited to firewalls, EDR, Cloud Security Platforms, SIEM, Threat Hunting and Incident Response
  • Good understanding of the ASD Essential 8 as well as MITRE ATT&CK framework
  • Experience of responding to compliance audit requests and a good understanding of compliance frameworks and regulations (ISO27001, CCSA, NIST, CPS234)
  • Strong networking skills
  • Strong understanding of complex enterprise architectures
  • Clear and concise communication skills with a collaborative and flexible work style
  • Strong consultative skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non
- technical audiences
