The Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide Maternity Leave cover for a 12-month fixed term period commencing 8 January, 2024.

The role of Executive Assistant to the Principal is to support the College's Principal across all aspects of his role to ensure the successful day-to-day management of the College as well as the achievement of the strategic direction of the College.

In addition, this role will establish effective professional relationships across a range of stakeholders.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Previous experience as an EA to the Principal, CEO, General Manager or similar is essential
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including demonstrable ability to deal with confidential information discreetly and handle sensitive information
  • Strong time management with the ability to work autonomously and well under pressure, juggling multiple and potentially complex tasks at one time
  • The ability to take direction and act accordingly with initiative, a growth mindset, and a solutionfocused approach
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to think analytically
  • The ability to work as part of a team and to coordinate with people in different departments
  • Effective communication and the ability to build relationships with students, parents, colleagues and the broader College community
  • Willingness to support the College core values and Anglican ethos
  • A current paid working with children check (Blue Card) or the ability to obtain one is a requirement for this role.


Additionally, you will provide high-level, confidential administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team, including preparing and distributing agendas, minutes, and associated paperwork.
