About the role
This role will deliver the Technology Transformation program for Donor Engagement and Experience. The Technology Transformation program will radically change the processes and way of working in all donor centres and is a critical part of achieving 'Lifeblood Unlocked' through improving meaningful work for our team members and creating an enhanced experience for our donors.
This program includes the integration of collection devices with the National Blood Management System (NBMS), the enablement of NBMS data entry at the donor couch, and the enablement of donors to complete the donor questionnaire at home. A key part of the program is to select and deploy the end user devices for donor centre staff across 100 donor centres. This transformational role will work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the body of work enabling the radical step change in the way our donor centres operate.
This role will work across the Donor Engagement and Experience business unit nationally, and other business units, particularly Information and Communications Technology, to deliver the program. The ability to plan, manage and deliver a transformational change program in a complex environment, as well as prepare Executive level documentation, is essential.

- Formal tertiary qualifications in project management or related area
- 8+ years successful track record in leading large scale transformation projects
- Experience in leading a transformation project within a large and complex organisation
- Experienced in end-to-end project requirements for the roll out of end user devices and other technological transformational projects
- Highly developed and demonstrated stakeholder engagement, communication, presentation and interpersonal relationship skills
- High level understanding of change management principles
- Demonstrated experience in translating strategy into operational effectiveness
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills
- Computer literacy and demonstrated competence in project management software
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets
- Experience in the Health industry (highly regarded)
- Knowledge of quality systems and good manufacturing practice, preferably related to therapeutic products or medical devices (highly regarded)
This is a 12 month full-time fixed-term opportunity with a hybrid working environment. While we would prefer a Melbourne based candidate, we may be open to candidates from other locations within Australia.
