The role you could play


In this role you will provide responsive case management to young people between the ages of 15 and 25 years of age, while effectively building relationships with clients and encouraging self-determination and participation.

As well as that, you will be supporting the development and growth of young people's lives through the collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities

  • Support young people in line with Youth Services model of care and associated Frameworks
  • Build effective relationships with clients that encourage selfdetermination and participation
  • Provide ongoing assessment of client's issues, safety, needs and circumstances from initial intake to exit
  • Develop individual case plans in collaboration with clients including a range of interventions that address the clients needs
  • Assist clients to access support services and establish community supports including referrals to appropriate specialised agencies
This is a max term (until Jan 2024) full time position, located in Ingle Farm, SA. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the SCHADS Level 5 Award.

  • Degree qualification in social work, welfare, community development or related field
  • Demonstrated high level of sector knowledge and skills attained through previous roles, service and study/development
  • A valid Employee Working with Children Check
  • Psychological Assessment (in line with Children and Young People Safety Act 201
  • Through their Eyes (Reporting Abuse and Neglect) Training
  • A First Aid Certificate
  • A willingness to undergo a National Police check
