The Role

Seeking a motivated Deputy Chief Medical Officer with exceptional interpersonal skills to lead the medical workforce at Northern Beaches Hospital. This pivotal role involves guiding the strategic and operational aspects of the hospital, ensuring optimal patient care and sustainable workforce practices.

  • Manage and lead the junior medical workforce to enhance patient care
  • Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer to align medical workforce with hospital needs
  • Provide effective leadership in day-to-day medical operations
  • Foster engagement among medical staff for improved patient safety
  • Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships

The Candidate

Qualifications and attributes for success:

  • Current Registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner
  • Experience in healthcare setting
