What you'll be doing:

The objective of the Technical Library Co-ordinator role is to:

  • Maintain the currency and integrity of all aircraft related technical data (Instructions for Continuing Airworthiness
  • ICA), which includes maintenance of registers to manage the accurate recording, distribution and tracking of documents.
  • Maintain the amendment management for Virgin Australia Regional Airlines (VARA) internal Part 42 manual suite, in accordance with ESP's to meet the safety, airworthiness and compliance requirements.
  • Be accountable for procuring and sharing external vendor / manufacturer maintenance technical data (ICA) applicable to each aircraft serial number and relevant parts.
  • Ensure third party repair organisations have access to the required maintenance data in line with maintenance and procurement requirements.
  • Review Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins for VARA fleet applicability and registers for complete assessment.
  • Support the Technical Records team quality checking maintenance documentation and processing information in the Maintenance Information system.
  • Continuously develop CAMO (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation) Technical Library site, to ensure authorised personnel can readily access technical data.
  • Regularly review content on CAMO Technical Library site and ensure latest revisions are obtained and loaded or removed from distribution upon expiry.

Who we're looking for:

  • Administrative experience, ideally in document control/library review, or experience in a role with an administrative focus for an airline
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Highly developed organisation skills, including strong time management and prioritisation skills
  • Strong ability working in computer software programs, ideally with experience working in Microsoft Sharepoint (or similar)
  • Aviation knowledge is advantageous, but not essential
