Responsible for the day to day administration of Insurance within superannuation including Death, Total and Permanent Disablement, Income Protection, Terminal Illness and Permanent Incapacity from set up through to cancellation/expiry including all ongoing tasks, claims and underwriting, responses to insurance related enquiries, premium payment and maintenance, quality checking and escalations.

Some of the awesome things you'll be involved with:

  • Ensure work is completed with appropriate accuracy and that timeframes for completion are consistently aligned to agreed service levels
  • Provide completed work for quality checking/peer review. Also to quality check/peer review and authorise work tasks for other team members
  • Allocate and/or complete workflow cases within agreed service levels
  • Review and update documentation of processes and procedures
  • Provide feedback and support for complex, technical and escalated issues
  • Take escalated enquiries and provide background information to the complaints team, if and when required, to resolve insurance claim related complaints
  • To identify and report Incidents and assist with the remediation process
  • Assist with completion of annual insurance reviews and submit for quality checking when complete
  • Work on projects as required
  • Process or assist with Month end BAU tasks, including premium runs and monthly reporting
  • Comply with all company policies, values and procedures

  • Achieving and maintaining accurate insurance data within the superannuation administration system
  • Accurate and timely completion of daily and ad hoc tasks
  • All relevant queries investigated and resolved in a timely manner

  • Excellent understanding of superannuation
  • Highly competent in time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills
