The Position
We are seeking expressions of interest for the Board Chair of Melba Support Services, an inspiring not for profit organisation, dedicated to supporting and empowering people with a disability to live the life they want.
The Chair will provide leadership to the Board, whilst offering support and guidance to the CEO and executive team to deliver on organisational strategy, and ensure alignment with the 'Melba Way', Values and Quality Framework.
The organisation is continuing its transformation and growth trajectory, following a successful period of rapid expansion over the past two years.
The Board comprises a further six Directors and is supported by sub-committees for FARM (Finance, Audit and Risk Management) and PQS (Practice, Quality and Safeguards).
The Organisation
Celebrating 50 years in 2023, Melba Support Services offers a rewarding and engaging culture, with a commitment to achieving the core values of human rights, passion, creativity, flexibility, and fun in everything they do.
As a registered NDIS provider within Victoria, the organisation employs approximately 1,500 staff across 5 offices in Lilydale, Dandenong, Ballarat, Morwell, Horsham and Bairnsdale.
