An Excellent opportunity is available to work in the CNS2 role in COPD at Nepean Hospital working Full time or Part time in a temp contract until December 2024.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 is responsible for the avoidance of hospital admissions and reduce length of stay of people with chronic respiratory conditions presenting via the Emergency Department and other hospital admissions.
The role will assist to develop, in conjunction with Respiratory physicians, the respiratory chronic care program.We invite you to grow your career with us.

What you will bring to the role Current registration with AHPRA- Division 1 Registered Nurse.Minimum five years full time equivalent post registration experience, with at least three years full time equivalent experience in Respiratory Nursing and post graduate qualifications in Respiratory or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively across organisations or teams simultaneously, while balancing competing objectives.Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment and Commitment to champion, educate and lead a multidisciplinary team to improve patient's outcomes as part of a team Proven ability to communicate and negotiate change and improvement strategies with senior clinicians and executives.
Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making abilities according to practice.Demonstrated ability to interpret complex information rapidly and accurately.
Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel Evidence of consistent demonstration of behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation with all stakeholders including colleagues, direct reports patients and consumers.
