About you
As our Program Coordinator – Fellowship Support Program (FSP), you'll have highly developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to guide the FSP program administrator team in the delivery of assessments to our registrars. While sometimes working under pressure, you will have strong reasoning skills to build effective working relationships. To thrive in this role, you'll have:
  • tertiary qualification in relevant area is desirable.
  • experience in a health and/or medical education field.
  • knowledge of general practice training environment or an educational training environment in the health sector and managing variety of assessments.
  • advanced skill in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, online learning management and customer relationship management systems.
  • People management skills to motivate and lead a small team.
About the opportunity
Reporting to the Team Lead - FSP, you'll have the foresight and initiative to problem solve as required, along with the ability to liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Your excellent assertive ability will enable you to provide guidance to all FSP Administrators and support the Team Lead in a timely manner to deconflict administration issues as they arise. In addition, you'll:
  • train, support and oversee the Program Administrators to enhance the level of administration support and service rendered to the registrars.
  • work collaboratively with the Medical Education team and Program Officers to support a well-coordinated program delivery.
  • manage and oversee all registrar training activities and provide high level support as required.
  • undertake complex registrar intake queries liaising with internal stake holders such as Eligibility and Provider Number Teams.
  • ensure all program activity data is accurately maintained across multiple platforms and retrieved as needed for various minimum data set requirements with the Department of Health (DoH).
  • inform the forecasting and planning process for the delivery of the educational activities to determine the Medical Educator (ME)Registrar ratio and capacity for the delivery of the educational activities with existing MEs and External Assessors (EAs).
