About the Business
Rhima Australia/New Zealand is a specialist supplier and service provider of European sourced industrial, commercial, and medical washing equipment to major companies and organisations throughout Australia, New Zealand and SE Asia.
An opportunity is now available to join the team as a National Sales Manager at the Head Office in Braeside, VIC.
You will be reporting to the CEO, and the purpose of the role is to manage and develop our small Sales Team, promote and develop the product range to existing and potential clients.
This includes business development, account management, dealer liaison and client consultation.
This is a newly created role, and would ideally suit someone who has been in a similar role for a number of years with a capital equipment background.
- Entrepreneurial Sales Leadership.
- Leading a small team, you will need to be a handson allrounder and as well as sales management and sales development you will be responsible for helping the company achieve its sales growth goals.
- Strong Sales management and a track record of developing sales to achieve sales yearly target
- Be an allrounder and prepared to roll your sleeves up and do want needs doing to get the job done and keep the customer happy.
- Have the proven ability to lead, coach and support the sales team in achieving goals.
- Day to Day management of the sales team and sales forecasting and team accountability
- Strong relevant sales experience in Capital equipment, technical sales knowledge in mechanical or electrical would be highly regarded.
- Have a strong "hunter gather attitude in a direct sales role especially in Industrial sector.
- Solid relationships within key industries of Hospitality, Medical and Industrial or knowledge of industries involved in Food / Beverage processing /manufacturing, Packaging industry, Medical / Pharmaceutical and Agriculture etc.
- Be a good networker in relevant sectors to grow the business.
- Good Business Development skills. Cold calling / door opening is a must.
- Providing technical quotations and pricing for customer enquiries.
- Providing turnkey solutions to customers.
- Field all incoming sales related calls and provide comprehensive and quick responses to enquires including fast turnaround on quotations.
- Engage with customers throughout the whole sales cycle.
- Have good business and commercial acumen.
- Be self motivated with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good competency in computers and managing a CRM database.
- Demonstrated ability to create a performanceoriented culture.
- Positive, driven, and resultsfocused with excellent communication skills.
- Track record of inspiring loyalty and action within a sales team.
- Strong business acumen and ability to engage with stakeholders at every level.
Duties and Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities will include
- Providing strategic direction, leadership and managing/building a highperformance sales team
- Making your mark and be a positive contributor to this newly created Sales Manager position.
- Execute effective gotomarket strategies, including excellence in tender processes.
- Develop necessary competencies within the sales team to achieve objectives.
- Manage and cultivate existing pipelines while driving new opportunities.
- Manage sales team performance through clear targets, ongoing measurement and coaching and development.
- Ensure implementation and usage of our CRM platform.
- Drive implementation of national, regional and account specific field activities
- Promote and support planning for the sales force to be more effective at executing objectives.
- Visiting new and prospective clients by cold calling, appointments, referrals, inquiries and referrals.
- Promoting product range within the Hospitality, Medical and Industrial sectors such as in Food / Beverage processing /manufacturing, Packaging industry, Medical / Pharmaceutical and Agriculture industry.
- Preparation and submission of quotes and tenders and responsibility for the whole sales cycle.
- Client training and awareness days.
- Attending trade shows, conferences, etc. as agreed and required.
- Conducting group sales meetings and managing support at exhibitions and business development meetings.
- Maintain sales budgets and submit CRM activity reports on a weekly basis or as directed by the CEO or designate.
