In this role, you'll:

Work as part of a team delivering Data Architecture & Data Analytics you will be responsible for designing and implementing the solutions that enable our clients and business partners to make efficient decisions with ease.

You will design, implement and deploy reports, dashboards, data models and access rules for end users. Acting as SME for business data analytics visualisation in large projects.
This is a fixed term full time opportunity until Feb 2025 with good potential for extensions and is based at Parramatta with flexible work practices.

About you

  • Proven experience with developing reports and dashboards using Microsoft BI Stack such as PowerBI Desktop and Online Service DAX Power M Query.
  • Experience in Tableau. Cognos, Quicksight is an advantage.
  • Demonstrable ability to analyse complex datasets to effectively deliver clear, targeted and impactful data visualisations.
  • Ability to develop Power BI paginated reports and row level security.
  • Expertise in SQL, Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) and other query languages.
  • Strong data analysis skills in complex corporate environments.
  • Experience in using the PowerBI Gateway to connect to the database and publish the PowerBI services.
  • Experience in gathering and documenting Business Intelligence requirements.
  • Proficient with inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and analysing raw data to discover useful information, inform conclusions, and support effective decision-making.
  • Demonstrated capability of communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills as well as written and verbal communication skills.

Cognos experience is highly desirable.
