About the role
GrainCorp is in search of a Senior Data Engineer to join a dynamic and collaborative team dedicated to driving the success of advanced analytic use cases. The main responsibilities of this role include:

- Transforming the design and product vision into functional products for end users, while encouraging a culture of sharing, scalability, stability, and user-centric design.

- Creating, enhancing, optimizing, and managing data engineering solutions for analytical use cases, along with the associated architecture and infrastructure following industry best practices.

- Keeping abreast of new techniques and adapting evolving industry best practices to individual projects.

- Mentoring team members and supporting their continuous development.

About your experience
Applicants should be able to showcase experience in driving data engineering solution delivery in collaboration with various teams. Candidates should also demonstrate:

- Over 10 years of proven experience in end-to-end data engineering solution delivery for use cases, possessing strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Proven experience in SAP BTP integration with Azure and Gen-AI architecture design and implementation.

- Hands-on experience in DataOps, InfraOps, DevOps, and MLOps (optional) best practices, with expertise in at least one programming language (preferably Python).

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Engineering is preferred.

Technical Skills:

- SAP: BTP (e.g., Datasphere, SAC, AI, extended planning and analysis) and its integration with Azure.

- Gen-AI solution: Microsoft/Databricks Gen-AI solution architecture and implementation.

- Azure: Databricks, IaC (Bicep preferred), DevOps, Azure ML workspaces, vnet etc.

Non-technical Skills:

- Effective stakeholder management and communication.

- Strong team player and adept at managing Agile project deliveries.
