As the Assistant Director you will use your experience and leadership qualities to engage and motivate your centre team to drive continuous improvement in all aspects across centre operation and to extend your network of relationships with children, families and educators.

You will work in collaboration with your centre leadership team. The role is dual, time floating across the service working within the rooms and time in the office.

You will establish respectful and reciprocal relationships with families and engage in networks within the centre's local community.

About Goodstart Osborne


Goodstart Early Learning Osborne is situated in Adelaide west, next to the suburbs of North Haven ad Taperoo, it is close to schools and shops as well as community facilities and transport routes.

Catering to 87 early learning places, age groups from 6 weeks to 5 years. The centre is open from 6.30am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday.

The centre environment and natural surroundings supports progressive indoor and outdoor programs for children to play, learn and explore. The environment enhances children's social/emotional, cognitive, language and physical aspects.

They have carefully designed and planned spaces to encourage a stronger understanding of the environment and sustainability - while giving children the scope to explore, play and let their imaginations roam.

You'll help achieve this by

Support the centre director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the centre director's absence
Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide
