About the role:

An exciting opportunity to join Box Hill Institute (BHI) as our Marketing Videographer This opportunity is a part time, 4 days per week role

Within this role you will be working with the Digital Design Coordinator to develop a yearly content strategy that is relevant to BHI's key segment and channel preferences.

You will be building engagement and improving brand awareness for BHI as a leader within the education sector through production of engaging content

As the Marketing Videographer, you will be planning and implementing digital photography and video post-production in accordance with overall production concepts; ensuring the production of high-impact videos that resonate with our key segments in both online and offline channels.

You will coordinate and undertake photographic and video assignments to support content development, digital advertising, web content and printed publications.

You will have the opportunity to adopt innovative graphic design and animation initiatives to create content that will enhance engagement and awareness, and keep abreast of new developments and technology in photography and video post-production and photography_.

This role will require travel to other BHI campuses in Lilydale and Melbourne City to support events and projects across a number of facilities.

About You:

• An undergraduate or postgraduate in photography, multimedia or similar
• Demonstrated experience in video editing/producing environment, and experience in all areas of video postproduction along with the ability to edit and create graphic designs for digital advertising and website
• Ability to artdirect photography and facetoface filming (art direction is the ability to stage and style the surroundings and people)
• Proven broad knowledge of and experience in various aspects of digital content or a sound knowledge of specific aspects of digital content production
• Strong technical skills in still photography, digital and social media platforms. Ability to design, develop and trial procedures, equipment and systems
• Draws on a range of sources to identify new ways of doing things to actively generate and promotes new ideas.
• Translates creative ideas into workplace improvements, reflects on experience, and is open to new ways to improve practice
