This is an exciting time to join this global medical technology company as part of a recent divestment, relaunch and development of their business, team and culture. A well-recognised brand in their areas of specialisation, they pride themselves on innovative technology, broad product offering and focus on bringing value to their customers. Due to business growth, they are in search of a proven Clinical Support Specialist or Surgical Sales Professional to take ownership and support all clinical support activities for their NSW and Victorian team. Their product portfolio includes implantables, surgical instruments and capital equipment.

Reporting to the National Clinical Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage, monitor, and provide clinical support for the surgical portfolio.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Support Manager and sales team to deliver outstanding customer service and support.
  • Assist in training and upskilling activities for the surgical portfolio.
  • Streamline communications and functions in collaboration with relevant team members.
  • Provide technical expertise and product information to internal and external stakeholders across the product range.
  • Follow documented goals and objectives aligned with key business priorities.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Optometry or Orthoptics qualifications with a proven track record in Ophthalmology clinical support/sales
  • Experience particularly in phacoemulsification systems and IOLs
  • Strong clinical aptitude
  • Proficiency in problem-solving critical thinking and technical troubleshooting.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish strong relationships with all contacts (internal & external)
  • Tenacity and agility to excel in a fast paced competitive environment
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with proficiency in word xl and power point
  • Scope for regular travel at short notice
