Your Opportunity:

We currently have an opportunity available for an experienced Sales Professional to join the team in Adelaide, managing our Coronary Devices portfolio for SA and WA. This is an extremely exciting area of our business, with massive potential, and the opportunity for you to make a strategic impact on the overall success of our IGT business in ANZ. Ideally, you will Adelaide based and comfortable to travel to WA on a monthly basis.

Well known for your sales ability within the Medical Device sector and exceptional customer and stakeholder management skills, you will be tasked with servicing current customers and expanding Philips' market share within your territory. As an expert within Interventional Cardiology, and extensive exposure to the Cath Lab environment, you will already have an extensive network of key opinion leaders in this area.

Every day will offer new and exciting challenges, selling some of the Healthcare Industry's most innovative devices and solutions. You will be required to build high-level business relationships both internally and externally, constantly being aware of current and future market trends with respect to customer and overall industry, and execute a planned approach to maximizing sales volumes and margins. This will include; ensuring a broad understanding of Philips products, negotiating sales and terms, submitting tenders and maintaining an accurate and relevant sales funnel for all sales leads.. You will also have overall responsibility for delivering clinical and technical support to customers including training around the effective application of our products and hosting company sponsored educational events.

Your Team

You will report to the Segment Leader for Coronary, and work alongside an experienced and enthusiastic team, committed to providing the very best service to our organization and our customers. More broadly you will be working as part of the Philips Healthcare team, and have daily interactions with internal stakeholders from across the business.

We Are Looking For

  • You will bring consider and proven experience in Sales / Business Development within the Medical Device Industry.
  • Extensive experience, whether clinical or sales, within Interventional Cardiology with applications in Coronary Physiology and / or Coronary Intravascular Imaging.
  • A self-starter with an entrepreneurial skill set to get things started
  • Social team player, who can integrate and work in a team
  • Ability to network and collaborate across a complex matrix organisation, build strong relationships and operate in a team.
  • Creative and innovative thinker who is action orientated and results focused and leads by example.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentations skills
