Allied Health Assistant (part-time)
Working in the acute physiotherapy team (Richmond)
Rotating role - broad range of clinical specialities

The Role

In this part-time allied health assistant (AHA) role, based in the acute service at Richmond, you will be responsible for patient care (as delegated by supervising physiotherapists) and other department portfolios.

You will be part of the physiotherapy team and report to Deputy Physiotherapy Manager.

You will make an impact by:
Providing a high standard of patient care
Ensuring safe practice at all times
Aligning with department prioritisation and clinical care guidelines
Participation in clinical handovers based on the ISOBAR framework
Documentation and reporting in-line with organisational standards

To be successful in this role

You will be efficient and diligent with excellent initiative and a proven ability to quickly build rapport with a variety of stakeholders.


You will have:

Prior experience as an Allied Health Assistant; and/or
Completed a Certificate IV AHA; and/or
Be completing your undergraduate training and/or other relevant university qualification
Weekly availability , Monday-Friday
