Eligible titles include, but aren'tlimited to: Auditor 1, Auditor 1 Tax, Senior Accountant, State Program Examiner 1; ORA bachelor's degree in any of the areas listed above- AND two years of professional experience in conducting internal audits; financial statement audits; compliance reviews; or program research, review, and appraisal.
Duties Description Working in NYSIF's Audit & Review Department, the Internal Auditor 1 will be responsible for assisting with the accurately and timely review of compensation and medical payments generated by claims.
The Internal Auditor 1 will be responsible for auditing approximately 25-35 payments per day, based on the complexity of the voucher.
Additional Comments This position may be designated 55 b/c and is subject to verification of applicant eligibility.NYSIF has a telecommuting program.

The New York State Insurance Fund (NYSIF) was established in 1914 as part of the originalenactment of the New York State Workers' Compensation Law.
