A leading financial services organisation, based in the CBD, are looking for a reconciliation analyst to join their team.

This is a great opportunity to join an employer of choice within the Sydney market, and gain exposure to ground breaking technology within the finance suite.


Working directly with the Project Management team, you'll take on the finance systems responsibilities and work closely with the finance teams both in the head office and operational level.


Responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Assess currentstate controls and develop futurestate controls design, documentation, and implementation.
  • Analysis of current state of nominated financial system/process/accounting.
  • Unit test and triage financial system and data integration artefacts under guidance.
  • Reconciliations of financial transactions between the general ledger and sub ledgers, ensuring consistency and accuracy of data.
  • Manage the systems implementation (finance modules) with oversight of external consultants.
  • Define and implement finance process improvements to support implementation initiatives.
  • Create work papers associated with any testing including remediation activities.
  • Prepare and present periodic reconciliation reports to management, highlighting key findings, issues, and progress on process improvements.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a real passion for working on ERP systems implementations, who is looking to move away from core finance, and more into the project/system space.


To be considered for this opportunity you must be a hands-on professional, capable of self-starting, driving processes, influencing good decision making, and have a keen eye for detail.

You have a solid understanding of financial controls, have proven experience in finance reconciliation, preferably with exposure to general ledger and subledger systems, and internal controls.

You will understand how technology flows to support business outcomes.

You will ideally have been involved with a least one prior ERP implementation and use this experience to add value to the project from the offset.
